COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE ON ADOLESCENT REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH

This monthly series is for health care providers, educators and anyone who works with young people and wants to share and discuss reproductive health topics. It's an opportunity for participants to share de-identified situations and cases for peer-to-peer and specialist consultation. Recent topics include when to start birth control after emergency contraception, metformin to treat PCOS, addressing the side effects of contraception, amenorrhea and more. Cases or topics can be submitted up to three days in advance.

ARH in Primary Care

Adolescent Reproductive Health in Primary Care is an ECHO series that offers clinically relevant topics for those who provide or are looking to build, expand and improve care to preteens through young adults. Once completed, participants will be able to evaluate and manage common conditions in adolescent reproductive health. Over the course of six sessions, the series will include an overview of adolescent reproductive health issues, best practices in adolescent contraception and common adolescent gynecology concerns. CME is offered.

ARH FOR NURSES and health professionals

This series provides an overview of essential topics in adolescent reproductive health focusing on the importance of person-centered care when caring for young people. Content includes taking an adolescent health history, minor consent and confidentiality, sexually transmitted infections, menstrual periods, contraception and strategies for addressing common concerns and side effects of contraceptive methods. NCPD offered.

ON-DEMAND ECHO SERIES

ECHO ON-DEMAND: ARH FOR NURSES, EDUCATORS AND PEOPLE WHO WORK WITH YOUTH

This six-module series provides updated and relevant information about adolescent reproductive health to support youth and their families. Content includes gender and sexuality, reproductive anatomy and physiology, contraception, STIs, laws related to minor consent and confidentiality, and best practices in sexual health education. NCPD and CE for Educators is offered.

ECHO ON-DEMAND: ARH in Primary Care

This online course designed to fit your schedule and pace. The six-module series is for primary care providers who want to build, expand and improve care to preteens through young adults. Once completed, participants will be able to evaluate and manage common conditions in adolescent reproductive health. In addition to a didactic teaching video, each session offers relevant clinical resources that support providers in integrating best practices immediately. CME is offered.
